Specialist Electives come packaged with detailed regulatory information pertaining to the subjects so you can formulate with confidence knowing your formulas will be suitable within the Australian regulatory environment. 

Topics covered within the Specialist Electives are of a complex nature and have a pre-requisite of the Diploma of Personal Care Formulation.

Colour Cosmetics

Learn how to formulate a range of colour cosmetic products including eye shadows, mascaras, pencils, lipsticks and more! You will learn about:

- special manufacturing considerations for colour cosmetics

- various chemicals used within colour cosmetics

- base formulas for a variety of colour cosmetic products
